I’m in St. Pete, FL, at Don Cesar where Sinatra and Fitzgerald visited

It’s called the Don Cesar, and it dates back to the 1920s.

As soon as you pull up, you know you’re entering history. The resort just looks like it’s from the 1920s, like a grand, pink palace. Back in the day, before Miami’s tourism infrastructure took off, this hotel was THE place for visiting celebrities and the Rat Pack, like Frank Sinatra, F. Scott Fitzgerald and even Al Capone. I mean, if Al Capone stays here, you know it’s special.

There are two pools, several restaurants, a spa and it’s just steps from the award-winning, white-sand beach.

Looking forward to exploring St. Pete this week!
