While I have been a New Yorker for almost 20 years, and I travel the world eating through amazing international cuisine, I will always have a weakness for Southern food. Southern food is dear to my heart, especially because I grew up in Georgia. When I plan a trip to Nashville, I arrange dining first. The food here is what makes the city special, and here are my 5 best Nashville restaurants that stand out for me.
I believe Nashville offers some of the best Southern food in the country. I wrote a story on the 5 best Nashville restaurants for Passport magazine, which you can read here.
