6 Gift Ideas For The Impossible Person To Shop For — Take A Look

gift ideas for impossible person

I’m an incredibly hard person to shop for. I’ve been everywhere, have everything I need, and I’m not so much into material items. Family and friends who bought me gifts in the past now just ask me what I specifically want (I always say gift cards. You can’t go wrong with gift cards!). I admit, I’m part of a rare, yet increasingly common, breed, and I know how hard it is to come up with gift ideas for the impossible person to shop for. They are so hard to please.

Impossible people to shop for are not only picky by nature, they really do want you to select unforgettable gifts for them during the holidays. You probably know this person. Practically nothing feels right for them, or they make it seem like what you get them in the future better be nicer than what you’ve gotten them in the past. Gotta love them! The good news is that thinking of gift ideas for the impossible person works your brain muscles harder, but the bad news is: you really don’t know what will please them.

Zwilling J.A. Henckels is one of the most renowned knife brands in the world. Any professional cook knows the brand well. The knife is made of a special formula high carbon no stain steel, forged from a single piece of solid steel. The ice hardened Friodur blade stays sharper longer, and has incredible resilience.

I recently began cooking, and this knife has made a world of difference. The precision and laser-controlled edge offers the ideal cutting angle for sharpness and durability, and the ergonomic polypropylene handle feels right in my hand.

2. Renpho Smart Digital Scale (on sale right now on Amazon!)

I’ve been working out at home and doing a lot more cardio, and since I don’t have access to amenities like a scale to weigh myself, I invested in Renpho’s Smart Digital Scale.

First, it’s less than $30, which is amazing, and I see it’s even further discounted on Amazon. Yes!

You can use it alone just stepping on the scale, or you can connect it to the Renpho app and see *all your stats* (13 essential body measurements) including body fat index, etc. You can also set goals (for instance, your ideal weight) and the Renpho Smart Digital Scale monitors it. The Renpho smart app works in connection with fitness apps, like Samsung Health, Fitbit App, Google Fit, and Apple Health.

The Renpho digital scale is definitely high quality and innovative. It has auto calibration, high precision sensors measure in increments of 0.2 lb, 0.05 kg with 396lbs, 180kg capacity, and 4 high sensitive electrodes. It also has 3 x AAA batteries included. I love monitoring my progress with this scale.

It’s perfect for your fitness friends who are working out at home and love to monitor their measurements. I mean, it’s all digital here. You don’t have to pay for a trainer or nutritionist to do this for you with the scale. Among the gift ideas for the impossible person, this is a great one for your fitness friends or anyone who is on a diet, especially during quarantine!

3. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Smartphone

I was an iPhone user for almost a decade, but everyone knows I switched to Samsung a few years ago. More people are switching to Samsung it seems (I’m just basing this on the number of friends I know that have made the switch. How do I know? The same way iPhone messages are compatible with each other (blue texts vs green texts), Samsung is the same, and you know when a friend has switched over!).

I bought Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and my life changed. Now, two years later, because the updated Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is the newest version, and I had paid off Galaxy Note 9, I had to upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is the best smart phone on the market with the best camera on the market (if you don’t believe me, just take a look at the reviews from top tier publications, who all rank Samsung over iPhone, based on overall use, graphics, features, and more).

Some of the features this phone has that iPhone does NOT have are: S Pen & Samsung Notes: An actual pen included that feels like you’re using a real pen. You can jot notes, sketch ideas, then convert into Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, and best of all: make GIFs with your phone!

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 also has all-day intelligent battery that learns from how you work and play to optimize battery life, as well as Super Fast Charging that boosts your battery in just minutes. It’s also 5G equipped. Honestly, this is a great gift idea for an impossible person to shop for.

4. Nomad Passport Wallet

Nomad passport wallet is a great gift idea for impossible person to shop for.

The Nomad Passport Wallet Tile Tracking from Nomad, a luxury tech accessory company with products that include iPhone cases, portable battery packs, charging stations and more, all of which you can browse here, is the best passport wallet I’ve ever used.

Nomad Passport Wallet has 5 sleeves for cards (which comes in handy for things I wouldn’t put in my every day wallet, like my Global Entry card), a quick-access pocket for boarding passes, a cash slot (if you ever have to pay off government officials like I have haha) and, of course, a passport pocket.

The Horween leather makes the Nomad passport wallet incredibly durable, and it also features Tile Tracking connected to Bluetooth, so you’ll never lose it. Honestly, a great gift idea for the impossible person to shop for, especially someone who is going on their first international trip or travels frequently.

5. Nouhaus Ergo3D Ergonomic Office Chair

Nouhaus Ergo3D Ergonomic Office Chair (my dog loves sitting on the desk!)

An office chair may seem like such a ‘who cares’ thing, but it makes all the difference. I had gone through so many $50 office chairs, and it did not justice for my lower back, my butt, my posture and the way I worked at my desk. A poor office chair can really affect your body, so I upgraded to the Nouhaus Ergo3D office chair. I’ve had friends come over and marvel at it in awe. It just looks better, but obviously, the benefit is the comfort.

The Nouhaus ergonomic office chair has a 4D adjustable armrest and lumbar system, ElastoMesh, 135 degree back tilt, smooth HydraLift, dual castors (and a set of hardwood floor rollerblade castors). It’s very future forward with comfort that’s lasting.

Nouhaus Ergonomic office chair made a huge difference in my posture.

This type of chair is not only good for people at their computers working remotely all day, but also gamers, bloggers, and whoever needs a comfortable seat. The mesh headrest adjusts up and down while the 4D Adjust Arms go forwards, back, up, down, side to side, and rotate for the best fit to your body. The 3D lumbar support is a huge relief, and it basically hugs your back, while the seat glides up and down.

The breathable ElastoMesh provides optimal airflow to avoid sweating and sticking. I love it, because you will sweat the longer you sit in a chair.

I’m 5’8″ and it’s the perfect height, and I can definitely see it working for anyone up to 6’2″. This is definitely a great, affordable gift idea for an impossible person to shop for, especially someone who spends a lot of time on their computer.

6. Ekster Aluminum Cardholder wallet

Wallets are becoming more advanced. They’re slimmer, better material and they’re not as bulky as they were in the older days. It’s why Ekster Aluminum Cardholder wallet is a hot item.

Ekster Aluminum Wallet Cardholder is the quickest and slimmest wallet in the world, according to the brand, and I have to agree. I spent some time researching, and nothing came as close as this. It has a maximum capacity of 12 cards (I only keep 3 important ones to keep it slim), and the design of the wallet is .29”… that’s super slim! It has that easy store and access catch button I love, where your cards pop out with one click.

It’s a great, under $100 gift idea for impossible person to shop for, especially because it’s a sleek wallet that’s very unique (you’ll never see any other wallet like this!).
