The founder of Travelbinger, Jimmy Im is a nationally recognized travel and lifestyle writer and expert. He was a host on Travel Channel (“Confessions of a Travel Writer”), critic on Bravo’s “Best New Restaurant” and travel expert on shows and programs, including CNBC, Nightline and Morning Blend.

For 15 years, Jimmy has traveled to 113 countries, working for dozens of renowned publications, including Conde Nast Traveler, New York Post, Hollywood Reporter, Travel + Leisure, Yahoo Travel, New York magazine, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Details, American Airlines/American Way, Robb Report, Passport, BBC Travel, Travel Channel and dozens more.

Im’s background is extensive. He’s been a content creator and copywriter for CVB and tourism boards, like Palm Springs, West Hollywood and Pasadena, to create original content for their websites, newsletters, brochures and other destination/tourism copy. Jimmy has also taught traveling writing for five years with MediaBistro.

Im is frequently invited to stay in new luxury hotels before they open to the public (from Amanoi in Vietnam and Starwood Luxury Collection Tambo del Inko in Peru to Soho House Chicago) and speaks on travel panels at events. Im has partnered with major travel brands, from Intercontinental Hotel Group to Preferred Hotels & Resorts, as a writer, an ambassador or a consultant. In addition to travel, Jimmy also has experience in public relations at SVEDKA vodka, and he served as VP, Business Development for Out Escapes.
