This is my room at Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale

I’m going 2-2 at Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale after checking out of Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour. What can I say? I’m a fan! The hotel recently unveiled a massive renovation, and I loved the Club Lounge, especially the staff. You don’t find service like that in Fort Lauderdale, TRUST ME. They are insanely good. Also: fresh-baked COOKIES. YUM.

The resort itself has a great design, emulating a cruise ship (super Art Deco here), which stands out among the row of cookie-cutter buildings just thrown up. I love my room. It’s huge, cozy, and has views of both the marina and the beach. This hotel is also insanely pet friendly (there were a few other pups in house).

To be honest, the best feature so far is the restaurant, Burlock Coast. You don’t find tons of restaurants in FL using ingredients straight from farms, and the menu was both fresh and innovative. It was also packed on a Monday night, so there you go. Order the beer-battered fish and chips, and definitely sit on the patio for major people watching!
