Disney Cruise Line has announced that bookings for voyages aboard the new Disney Believe will open this month.[1] The general public can reserve on Monday, October 19, 2026. Sailing is still more than a year away, though, so this is an early planning window and not a last-minute getaway.
Disney announced the ship’s entertainment, dining, staterooms and first itineraries this week. Here’s what’s confirmed so far, from the booking schedule and prices to the Moana-themed Grand Hall and a two-story Magic Kingdom suite.
Who Can Book First, and When

Not everyone gets in on October 19. Eligible Disney Vacation Club members and Adventure Insiders with Adventures by Disney can book on October 15, 2026, and the general public follows on October 19.[2] Castaway Club members also get early access, and the date depends on their tier.
That tiering matters most for the maiden voyage and the first few weeks of sailings. Pearl Members get the first chance to book the new ship.[2] One source lists an October 12 opening, but most reports point to October 15 for early access and October 19 for everyone else. Check Disney’s own site for your exact date.
A December 2027 Debut

The Disney Believe will embark on its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027.[1] It’s the ninth vessel in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the fourth and final Wish-class ship.[1] That means it shares its basic layout with the Wish, Treasure and Destiny.
Its overarching theme is “promise and possibility.”[1] The newness is in the details, such as the stories behind each venue. The Believe has the same layout as the other three Wish-class ships.[3] If you’ve sailed one of them, the bones will feel familiar.
Where the Ship Will Sail

The Disney Believe will sail year-round from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, beginning in December 2027.[4] The inaugural season has four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean, with visits to one or both of Disney’s island destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay.[4] So the Caribbean part of the headline mostly means the Bahamas, plus Cozumel on some sailings.
There are 29 inaugural season sailings across late 2027 and early 2028.[5] The maiden voyage is a five-night Bahamian cruise visiting Lookout Cay, Castaway Cay and Nassau.[2] The Western Caribbean sailings pair Cozumel with Castaway Cay, which suits families who want a Mexico stop.
What the Cruises Will Cost

Disney has already posted prices for the first sailings. The rates cover two guests and include taxes, fees and port expenses, and Disney notes that pricing and availability can change.[6] The lowest rate found was $2,683 for an inside stateroom on the four-night sailing departing January 20, 2028.[6]
Holidays cost much more. The maiden voyage starts at $6,444 for an inside stateroom, $6,764 for oceanview and $7,134 for verandah, and a concierge stateroom starts at $17,074.[7] Late January sailings sit at the cheaper end of the range, so flexible families may find better value outside the holiday weeks.
A Moana-Inspired Grand Hall

The ship’s Grand Hall, the central hub, will be inspired by Moana.[8] A bronze statue of Moana, alongside Pua and Heihei, welcomes guests.[9] The detail runs through the room, down to railings inspired by the patterns of Moana’s skirt.[8]
Disney also shared that the chandelier is modeled after the ocean’s fluid movement and has the heart of Te Fiti hidden within.[10] The ceiling will carry constellations, and the carpet will use ocean colors. Since every guest walks through this space on embarkation day, it should set the tone for the whole trip.
Staterooms and the Believe Tower Suite

Standard rooms will feature new papercut-style artwork inspired by Disney and Pixar stories, including Moana, Coco and Inside Out.[11] Most will include Disney’s signature split-bathroom layout, plenty of storage and elevated beds with luggage space underneath.[11] Most staterooms offer an ocean view, 70 percent will have a verandah, and there will be more than 450 connecting doors for larger groups.[11]
The showpiece is the Believe Tower Suite. It’s a nearly 2,000-square-foot, two-story suite inside the forward funnel that sleeps up to eight, with two main bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.[12] The downstairs living area has a Main Street theme, and upstairs there’s a Big Thunder Mountain seating area and bedrooms themed to Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.[13] Disney has also announced two royal suites, the Royal Rose Suite inspired by Beauty and the Beast and the Royal Reef Suite inspired by The Little Mermaid.[8]
Dining, Lounges and Shows

The new venues lean on recent Disney hits. Oaken’s Table is a Frozen-inspired restaurant, Cafe Kakamora is inspired by Moana, and there’s a Big Hero 6-themed cafe.[14] Wishing Well will be a storybook lounge inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, while Sea Notes will be an elegant piano bar themed around The Little Mermaid.[15] Oaken’s Table will be the fleet’s second Frozen dining experience.[1]
On stage, the ship will introduce the first stage adaptation of Encanto aboard a cruise ship, performed in the Walt Disney Theatre.[15] Favorites from other ships return too, including Worlds of Marvel, 1923 and Haunted Mansion Parlor.[15] Families with little ones can also look to the it’s a small world nursery for ages six months to three years, plus Edge for tweens and Vibe for teens.[16]
Getting Ready for Booking Day

Prices for all 29 sailings are already public, so you can plan before the booking window opens. Decide whether you want a Bahamas-only itinerary or the Cozumel version. One reviewer suggests the January 10 sailing for anyone wanting Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay on the same cruise.[17] Also decide how much you’re willing to spend on a holiday-week departure.
If the maiden voyage or a Christmas week sailing is your goal, check which early access window applies to you. Popular dates and stateroom categories may go quickly. Disney’s own booking site has the final word on availability and pricing.
