Want $1,000 to put toward your property? eviivo, a leading hospitality tech company, is bringing its prestigious eviivo Awards to the U.S. and Canada as part of its North America expansion. This means Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com and other vacation rental and apartment hosts and owners can win big prizes, including $1,000 to go toward their properties.
eviivo Awards, originated in the U.K. and known as “the Oscars of independent accommodations,” recognizes incredible hosts, owners and hoteliers who run, operate and manage independent accommodations, such as boutique hotels, vacation rentals, cabins, urban rentals, campsites, yurts and any other independent property.
Eviivo Awards
The purpose of the contest, as part of International Week of the Host, March 21 to 25, is to support, promote and highlight the hardworking individuals in the independent accommodation sector, especially post Covid-19. Also, as Wall Street Journal noted, more millennials are entering the short-term vacation rental market to supplement their income, and this is a great opportunity for them to win cash prizes and promote their properties.
Eviivo Awards will have three award categories: Unsung Hero, Outstanding Host and Hottest Property. The winner of each category will receive $1,000 cash prize to put toward their property, and runner-ups will receive $250. Winners will be chosen by a panel of expert judges, from tourism officials to distinguished travel editors.

Any independent property currently in operation in the U.S. or Canada is eligible to submit to win. Deadline is March 3.
Due to Covid-19, eviivo Awards will be a virtual event streamed simultaneously in the UK, US, France and Germany on March 24 at 7pm BST/8pm CET and again at 8pm EST in the US. Anyone is welcome to participate viewing the proceedings, the announcement of the winners and secret celebrity guest hosts.
International Week of the Host will also have daily activations throughout the week, including a flash sale for properties on March 22 and travel writer/influencer stays on March 23 to help promote the independent accommodation sector.
