Burnt out on holiday travel? Don’t store your suitcase just yet.
Booking.com, an online travel booking platform, is offering a swag-filled, two-night, New York City weekend getaway in a New Year’s “resolution suite” for only $20.20 total. The catch is that it’s first-come, first-serve on January 13 at 12 PM EST, so you need to put this in your calendar now.
The dates of the weekend stay are January 17 to 19, 2020 (next weekend).
The weekend getaway is aimed to help your New Year’s resolution. Each of the 20, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites available will be tied to a specific New Year’s Resolution theme, like “Be More Active” and “Spend Quality Time With Your Pet,” and each pop-up suite will be curated with a custom-designed package and programming.
So, for instance, with “Be More Active,” the guest will not only have a huge, one-bedroom suite with a private gym set up inside, he/she will also receive a private fitness assessment, Rumble boxing session, nutritionist and meal prepping, dinner, snacks and breakfast basket and a gift bag full of Booking.com swag.
For “Spend Quality Time with your Pet,” the suite is decked out with pet amenities, designed with astro-turf grass and paw prints on the walls, and your dog will receive full grooming, meeting with a pet whisperer, a shopping spree, dinner, snacks and a breakfast basket and, of course, that goodie bag.
You can check out the full list of suites in this link.
While Booking.com did not reveal the retail value of these suites, you are likely saving $1,500 to $2,000 for this two-night vacation. The suites are located inside the Broad Exchange Building at 25 Broad Street, and we all know these condos are super price-y (they start at $900,000 to buy!). But with meals, personalized experiences and goodies thrown in, this is an incredible deal.
The weekend getaway is a way to promote Booking.com’s commitment to guest experiences and also show there is a booking for every New Year’s resolution.
72% of Americans are interested in taking a trip to help kick-start their resolution, according to Booking.com.
“Everyone sets New Year’s resolutions, and with Booking.com, we want to encourage people to take a trip to help kick-start their resolution,” Arjan Dijk, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Booking.com, said in a statement. “Whether your resolution is to spend more time with family and friends, to be more adventurous, learn to salsa dance and everything in between, Booking.com seamlessly connects travelers to memorable experiences and incredible places to stay, at the best value, with customized travel filters.”
