The Berkeley Park Hotel, a highly anticipated 4-star boutique hotel, will open on April 1 in South Beach, Miami, Florida, after the tune of a an $18 million renovation. The hotel will be the newest addition to the Accor brand portfolio and the first Florida hotel within the MGallery Hotel Collection.
With a soaring Mediterranean façade from 1936, the hotel pays homage to the city’s architectural roots, The Berkeley Park Hotel is an 80-room hotel along one of Miami Beach’s most coveted sectors known by locals as the Collins Park “Arts Corridor” for its direct access to world-renowned art institutions, just two blocks from the white sand beaches.
The hotel’s top-to-bottom $18 million renovation helped the hotel become more modern with contemporary aesthetic, drawing inspiration from South Beach and its vibrant culture. Staying true
to its Mediterranean Revival elements, the property has retained much of its original
design. The hotel melds its historic portion with a new tower that has expanded the property around an intimate center courtyard while maintaining its sense of place.
The hotel’s crown jewel is a 2,070 square foot rooftop deck complete with a swimming pool flanked by shady lounges, monthly programming for guests and locals, and breathtaking views of Miami Beach’s palm-dotted skyline.
Cleo Mediterráneo, the hotel’s signature restaurant, will be opening for dining.
The hotel opens as part of the MGallery Hotel Collection, a global network of more than 100 unique addresses in 31 countries around the globe.
