For many adventurers and nature photographeres, visiting Yosemite is a bucketlist destination, but planning on what exactly to see while visiting this natural park can be diffifult.

El Capitan

Yosemite Valley Reflection
This meadow is a great place to photograph Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and the Merced River. It’s also a popular spot for picnics and wildlife watching.
Half Dome
Half Dome is one of the most iconic features in the world. Its steep granite face is gazed at my millions each year. There are so many Instagrammable spots in Yosemite to shoot half done. But this one, taken with my 600mm lens, makes it look gigantic.
Yosemite Falls Reflection
The tallest waterfall in North America is a must-see for any Yosemite visitor. You can take photos of Yosemite Falls from the base or from one of the many viewpoints along the trail.
Taft Point
One of the coolest spots to watch the sunset. If you can get someone out on the ledge, like in the above, you’ll be able to see the incredible scale. In my view, this is one of the best Instagrammable spots in Yosemite National Park.
Glacier Point
One of my favorite places to enjoy the views. You can either drive it or hike from the Valley floor up the 4-mile trail. You have a killer view of Half Dome and the Valley floor.
Yosemite Falls Walking Shot
It’s one of the classic Instagrammable spots in Yosemite. You want to shoot vertically, to get both of the falls. Aim for the early morning before everyone shows up as this place easily gets crowded!
Vernal Falls
The first of two waterfalls on the Mist Trail, a popular hiking trail in Yosemite Valley. You can take stunning photos of Vernal Fall and Nevada Fall from the bridges that cross the river.
Three Brothers Reflection
The Three Brothers is an iconic shot in Yosemite, though you need calm waters in order to photograph the reflection. This usually happens in the fall and winter when there’s less snowmelt, and the river is mellow. So plan that fall trip to land a photo at one of the best Instagrammable spots in Yosemite.
