These 7 New Luxury Hotels Opening Soon Have Insane Rates — Take A Look

Four Seasons San Francisco

While the coronavirus continues through fall, many people are trying to look at positive outcomes in travel — and there are many starting to unfold. We predicted your hotel stays would be much safer, service will be better and that rates would significantly drop. Now, you should think about checking into new luxury hotels opening soon, not only because intro rates will be incredibly affordable, you can likely count on increased safety too.

If you plan on traveling safely, always check updated state regulations during Covid-19, and be smart about your hotel stays. Chances of a cleaner and safer environment will be higher at new luxury hotels.

For one, they don’t want to ruin their reputation right away with complaints of lack of social distancing or unhygienic quarters, so they’ll exceed expectations here. Two, there’s less safety concern with a newer property since nobody has really checked in yet. You could likely be the first guest.

Here are 7 new luxury hotels that either recently opened or will open very soon.

  1. Hotel Haya, Ybor City, Florida

Opening Date: Now Open.

Designed by local firm Alfonso Architects Incorporated, the 178-room property set in Tampa’s historic Ybor City, regarded as ‘Cigar City’, Hotel Haya is the first launch in Aparium Hotel Group’s pipeline of openings. With nods to the “Golden Age of Havana,” the decor immerses guests in mid-century Cuba, from four massive Francisco Goya reproductions to Chihuly-style glass blown globes paying homage to Ybor’s famous streetlights.

The project is an adaptive reuse of two historic buildings: the district’s first restaurant built in 1890 and the Warren building, rumored to have housed Teddy Roosevelt & Rough Riders.

The hotel has an upscale Gulf Coast-inspired Mediterranean restaurant, Flor Fina, and Café Quiquiriqui — which feels like walking into Havana, according to the property — and award-winning Chef Douglas Rodriguez, known as “the Godfather of Nuevo Latino Cuisine,” is at the helm of the hotel’s culinary program.

Rooms start at $199 and bookings now live here.

The $91 million project will include six f+b venues, including its signature restaurant, Silver King Ocean Brasserie, and the Beacon Social Drinkery rooftop lounge, offers sweeping views of the Caloosahatchee riverfront – both set to open later this fall.

The Workshop is the property’s state-of-the-art 2,300 square-foot culinary theater for guests to experiment and collaborate with chefs during hotel programming and private events. Additionally, the property houses an indoor and outdoor fitness center, a spacious pool overlooking the river and 10,000 square feet of adaptable indoor and outdoor events space.
