Love Camping but Hate the Hassle of Pulling Your RV Around? Outdoorsy Escapes Has the Solution

You know it’s camping season when you’re driving down the highway surrounded by various-sized RVs, campers, and motor coaches, all heading out on an outdoor escape. You might imagine the families at their campsites enjoying the many pleasures of RV camping, like gathering for a meal at the picnic table or roasting marshmallows over the fire.

However, the reality might not be as relaxing for some RV owners. They might be counting down the minutes until they can pull off the road without their massive camper in tow. Or looking forward to not weaving through traffic while commanding an oversized vehicle and paying steep gas prices along the way. Or perhaps they’re dreading the time it takes to settle into their campsite (unhitching the trailer, stabilizing the RV, and hooking up the electric and water).

While RV ownership has more than doubled over the last two decades in the U.S., per a recent report by the RV Industry Association (RVIA), the idea of pulling an RV around could deter some from the experience.

Outdoorsy.com, the leading RV and trailer rental site, recognized this and has a solution. The company recently announced the launch of Outdoorsy Escapes, which delivers premium RV rentals to your desired location, eliminating the hassle of towing your camper yourself.

Beginning April 24, 2025, users in select areas can choose among over 40,000 RVs to be delivered to 24 breathtaking destinations through their exclusive partnership with Spot2Nite, a booking platform specifically for RV parks and campgrounds. The program rolled out in Texas, California, and Florida, with all-inclusive prices starting at $245 per night.

Outdoorsy Co-Founder and CMO Jen Young commented on the collaboration in recent press, noting that the program takes the work out of shuffling a camper around, enabling guests to focus on togetherness with their loved ones.

Sam Bruner, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Spot2Nite, also shared their excitement in the publication about evolving outdoor hospitality, hoping to attract a “younger, more tech-savvy” market. With the number of Gen Z campers rising, per Business Insider, the new platform may considerably change how people camp going forward.

Lastly, arrive at the campsite and unwind while Outdoorsy does the rest! They deliver and set up your RV before you even get to your site, so you can have a stress-free getaway from the get-go.

Note: While Outdoorsy Escape isn’t available everywhere yet, Young assured that they are expanding by peak summer (mid-July to early August) to include more than 150 U.S. destinations with areas popular for their national parks and outdoors scene, like Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington.

You’re ready to book your trip, now what? There are some tips that those behind the platform highly suggest while planning your getaway. This includes booking early to ensure you get the RV and destination you want. They warn that prime destinations fill up quickly, especially near attractions and during peak seasons (typically summertime, based on the location, per the National Park Service), so leaving ample time before your scheduled vacation to book is preferred.

They also encourage users to browse unique accommodations, as there may be an offering that you didn’t expect that might catch your eye. Additionally, inviting family and friends and booking multiple RVs is suggested to further elevate your camping experience. However, there’s no need to load up your car with camping essentials as the RVs are equipped with everything you need, so all that’s left is to show up and have fun!
