Frequent flyers often face fragmented tools when trying to locate lounges, track visits, or coordinate perks across multiple credit cards. The launch of the Priority Pass+ app addresses several of those pain points by consolidating planning, membership details, and payments into a single interface. The redesign replaces the prior Priority Pass application and is reaching users through a staged rollout that began this summer.
Timeline and Reach of the Update
The new application is being introduced gradually, with notifications arriving in phases depending on region and card issuer. Existing users who open the old app are directed automatically to the updated experience once it becomes available in their market. Travelers holding Priority Pass through banks or credit card programs form the primary group affected, though direct members also gain access. The change affects anyone relying on the network’s more than 1,900 lounges and experiences worldwide.
Core Interface and Planning Tools
A prominent gallery now displays lounges near the user’s current location or chosen default airport, updating as the traveler moves. At John F. Kennedy International Airport, for example, the app surfaces ten options, including two Minute Suites that provide quiet space for work or rest. The trip-planning section lets users build itineraries and view available lounges at each airport along the route. One test itinerary covering travel from Philadelphia to Prague and a return from Paris to New York illustrated how the feature surfaces relevant locations without requiring separate searches.
Membership Management and Extras
Users can now view a complete summary of benefits, including access to sleep pods, spas, and additional experiences. Visit history appears alongside remaining allowances, and a digital membership card is available for quick reference. The app also supports management of multiple memberships, a practical step for those who receive Priority Pass through several cards. Additional services are grouped under membership extras, covering airport parking, car rentals, fast-track security, and meet-and-assist options at select locations. Destination and lifestyle offerings include wellness sessions, workspace bookings, luggage storage, and discounted tickets for attractions such as theme parks or the London Eye.
Security, Payments, and Future Additions
Biometric login and one-time password verification add layers of protection during sign-in. In-app payments are supported for certain services, reducing the need to switch between platforms. Priority Pass has indicated that further capabilities will arrive in the months ahead. The combination of these elements allows travelers to handle discovery, booking, and payment steps within one application rather than relying on separate websites or older versions of the tool.
