I checked into Taj Fort Aguada in Goa, India — Review

After nearly 20 hours of travel, I finally arrived in Goa, India, and I checked into Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa. Because I arrived at 4 AM, I didn’t see that my suite overlooked Fort Aguada, a pretty important, 17th-century, Portuguese fort on Sinquerim Beach. Insane! I’ll write a longer Taj Fort Aguada review later, but take in this view for now.

Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa is the first luxury hotel to open in Goa, and it’s located right on the beach. From my windows and private patio, I can see the outdoor pool, the sprawling Sinquerim Beach, and hammocks swaying in the breeze. Hello Goa!

I’m spending very little time at the resort, unfortunately, since I’m in Goa for only two days and primarily checking out the food scene. This includes local favorites like Nostalgia (a boho-eclectic restaurant with tropical vibes), a feni distillery in the middle of nowhere, markets and of course, some of the well known restaurants, like Spice Goa.

I’ll write a bigger Taj Fort Aguada review in the next few days. In the meantime, how awesome is the view?? I’m a sucker for great hotel views, especially beachside!
