February 2018
I’ve stayed at dozens of luxury hotels in Mexico, but nothing is quite like Casa De Mita.
January 2018

Mandarin Oriental Miami truly is one of the best in Miami.

Faena Miami Beach is now possibly my favorite hotel in Miami.

Fort Lauderdale is having a major renaissance, and Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale spearheaded it!

After a month hibernating, I’m back on the road (first stop: MIAMI)

Oh hey, fireworks do go off in freezing weather!
December 2017

Come for the skyline views alone.

Update: i’m in Galapagos with very little/slow WIFI…
November 2017

There are perks to being built among the hills.

This hotel is everything I want.

The Jeremy in West Hollywood is finally open!

“Mind blown” is a huge understatement with this VIP service at LAX I experienced this past weekend.

Booze, views, massages and Hollywood. What else do you do in LA?

I’m back in LA for the weekend… 8 hours in, I’m already beat!

NOPSI Hotel in New Orleans came out of nowhere, and we’re glad.

The Dali Museum was one of the best highlights for me in St. Pete!
October 2017

I’m going to be hanging here all day.

It’s also right on the white-sand beach, voted unanimously as one of the best in the country.

Everyone’s talking about Four Seasons Surf Club… so I’m here to give it to you straight.

This pet-friendly hotel is now the closest hotel to the famous Hollywood sign.

Peninsula Hong Kong is everything you’d want in a hotel.

Chillin out at the top of Hong Kong with travel buddy Jason Collins. Is the view bigger than Jason, or vice versa??

I think I just lost weight with my serious gawking at this insane suite.

Wake up and smell the “never leaving.”
September 2017

45 years later, not much has changed…

Freaking out right now with Soneva Javi, where my overwater villa has its own waterslide.

My friend is a producer and did a private screening of his new film (starring Matt Bomer) at Soneva Fushi. What a great perk for guests!

When this is your view, it’s hard to do work. Or, wait no. It’s easy to do work, you just don’t want to do it.

A favorite for celebrities and athletes, One & Only Reethi Rah is (luxury) paradise found.

It’s only been two years since my last visit, and those were the longest two years of my life!

I’m actually learning that I spend waaaaay too much time at the computer so….

Feast your eyes on these dishes from one of the most exciting tasting menus I had EVER.

The Lodhi, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is a former Aman, and it’s insane.
This is what happens when you fly business class with Malaysia Airlines.

I can’t with this beach. Who wants to join me?

If you’re a believer, it’s radioactive when this is the life on top of the world.

Never judge a book by its cover that has always been judged.

I’m at Marriott Marquis Bangkok, and things got a little cray…

It’s going to be a long journey (14-hour flight) for an even longer journey (one month trip to Asia). But I’m stoked!

This new hotel in Downtown Los Angeles is now the tallest building west of Chicago and has the highest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere. World record much?

I’m obsessing over this disco ball hovering the pool in New Orleans.

John Besh is one of the best chefs in New Orleans, and he’s invited me to dinner.
August 2017
Probably not, said this line.
We watched the total solar eclipse in Nashville—the only major US city in the path of the eclipse—and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD.

I checked into 21C Museum Hotel Nashville. Guests are immersed in so much art here they feel like they’re living inside a museum (that’s a good thing!).

The Great American Total Solar Eclipse is just days away, and there’s no other place to see it like Nashville! It’s the only major US city in the path of the eclipse…

Here’s one good travel hack if you’re going to spend 24/7 in a casino resort.

Le Cirque in Vegas just made a huge comeback, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in years.

Virtuoso is the leading network of luxury travel brands, and I’m excited to FINALLY make Virtuoso Travel Week!

Arriving in Vegas in style. Private jet or not, this aerial view of the Vegas Strip is stunning!

When a Michelin-starred chef does a casual restaurant, you better hope you get a reservation.
July 2017

There’s no hotel pool in Chicago that will seduce you like Peninsula Chicago.

In Chicago, you’re surrounded by impressive views. But when you stumble upon a stunner in a random place, you take a gazillion photos like I did.

If you’re a secret bookworm like me, you will pretend not to cry at American Writers Museum, the only one of its kind in the world, and brand-spanking new in Chicago (opened last week).

If I had wings (more like a bird, not an angel, because I may/may not have a halo, as I’ve “heard”), I’d definitely live in Chicago. The skyline always gets me but, from an aerial perspective, it’s mind-blowing and insanely commanding.
When you have a view like this, you drop everything and put your dog on the windowsill. Only in Chicago.

My friend and I devoured not one, not two, but three pizzas at Pizzana, arguably the best pizza joint in LA right now.

No, seriously. My friend Jason and I stumbled into one of the coolest, new bathrooms with an insane view in Hollywood. We’re taking a million selfies (perfect timing after my La Prairie facial!).

I was invited to be the first journalist to stay at Dream Hollywood, and this is what I think. (photo of my friend Jason at the rooftop pool).

I was part of an intimate group of journalists who attended the Taste of Waldorf event with Jean Georges Vongerichten and Padma Lakshmi. The winning dish will appear on the menu at all 26 Waldorf Astoria properties.

I checked into Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. It opened June 1, 2017, and I’m one of few journalists who were asked to stay for an experience. Mind blown, people. The hotel is exceptional.
June 2017

30 miles north of Miami Beach, Turnberry Isle Miami’s new Ame + Wellness Spa is well worth the trek, especially with the Himalayan themed surprises.
ME Miami is directly across the new Frost Science museum.

I’m hitting up the Mile High City with world-famous travel pup, Ruby! We’ve been exploring the city, dining at amazing restaurants and, of course, I’ve spent hours in the decadent spa. Love it here. Denver is one of my favorite cities and, now that you can buy weed legally, I’ll be coming more often!
