Windstar’s 79-Day Europe Cruise Costs $49,000 — Take A Look

Want to live on a glamorous boat for 11 weeks? Windstar Cruises launched a new 79-day Grand European Bucket List Adventure – the longest itinerary ever offered by the small ship cruise line – aboard it’s new all-suite Star Legend yacht. This 79-day bucket list journey through Europe will cost you $49,000.

While we know cruises can be overwhelming, don’t expect crowded buffet lines and thousands of other guests. Windstar’s Star Legend yacht carries only 312 guests, making it an incredibly boutique and luxury experience.

The Grand European cruise departs Stockholm, Sweden on July 25, 2023 and takes guests on a brand-new voyage spanning 22 countries through the Baltic, Northern Atlantic, Mediterranean and Black Sea.

Countries that are part of the itinerary include Finland, Estonia, Russia, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Amsterdam, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Bucharest and Turkey.

With 71 days in port (and only 8 days at sea), guests will absolutely see all the highlights of Europe, from major cities to stunning islands, on port excursions). Windstar’s European cruise will also have 11 overnights in port, giving guests a chance to check out the nightlife in destinations like Bordeaux, Seville, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. The cruise will also explore Germany (a new Windstar offering), with two first-time Windstar ports in Hamburg and Binz, in addition to a new Norwegian port: Arendal.

The yacht is small enough to navigate through the Kiel and Corinth Canals, according to the company, and the fact the cruise is intimate with such few passengers will make it feel more of an authentic adventure.

As part of Windstar’s $250 Million Star Plus Initiative, guests will experience new public areas, including two new dining venues, a new spa, elevated pool, and fitness area aboard Star Legend. The ship will also offer all new bathrooms in every suite and a new category of Star Suites, featuring a new layout. With ocean views and at least 277 square feet of  suite comfort, Star Legend will be a comfortable and luxurious experience.

The cruise finishes on October 12 in Istanbul, Turkey.
