With international travel on hold last year, road trips and RV travel soared to new heights and are predicted to continue rising in popularity throughout 2021. Now, RV travel no longer means sacrificing comfort, quality, and style with the opening of Yonder Escalante – an all-American modern RV resort, which opened a drive-in theater in the middle of the Utah desert.

Located in the emerging hotspot of Southern Utah amidst the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument near Bryce Canyon National Park, Yonder Escalante is a new 20-acre desert resort concept inspired by the spirit of the American road trip with special features like a heated lounge pool.
The property uniquely offers 67 pull-in sites for RVs, vans, and campers, each of which include a variety of hook-up options, a private fire pit, and full access to common areas, thoughtful amenities and culinary offerings. Yonder Escalante also offers 10 vintage renovated airstreams and 22 custom designed cabins.

Guests can enjoy resort-style amenities, which include an open-air Lodge, a spa-inspired bathhouse, laundry facilities, a general store (offering homemade breakfast fare, grab-and-go picnic items, meal kit baskets, custom cocktail kits, and more), an oversized lounge pool and hot tub, acres of stunning outdoor space to connect with nature, and a drive-in movie theater equipped with nine stationary restored classic cars.

The drive-in theater is only open for guests, and movies are shown Thursday to Sunday at 7:30 PM. Guests can experience these movie nights from the comfort of one of nine stationary restored classic cars equipped with sound and heaters, while enjoying movie night concessions available at the General Store.

Yonder has quite a range of movies at the drive-in, from cult classics, family camping themes, space and exploration to spaghetti westerns and comedies. Showtimes are listed on property upon arrival. Some of the fan favorites they have shown to date are: 3 Amigos, Young Frankenstein, The Great Outdoors and ET.
Yonder Escalante was built on the grounds of an old drive-in, so it plays homage to that with the drive-in theater.
Rates for modern RV pull-in sites start at $69/night.
