Bilt has added JetBlue TrueBlue as its 27th transfer partner at a straightforward 1:1 ratio. The change gives members a direct way to move points into the airline’s loyalty currency for JetBlue flights or select partner awards. The addition arrived less than a week after Rove introduced its own connection to TrueBlue.
Transfer Process and Minimums
Members link their TrueBlue account to Bilt through the app or website before any transfer. Points move in blocks of 1,000, with transfers described as nearly instant once initiated. Bilt Blue members face a 2,000-point minimum per transaction, while other members start at 1,000 points. The quick completion time lets users transfer points shortly before booking an award. This flexibility reduces the need to hold large balances in TrueBlue ahead of time. No fees apply to the transfers themselves under the standard terms.
How Bilt Compares to Other Programs
Several major rewards currencies already connect to JetBlue TrueBlue, though the exchange rates differ. Bilt’s 1:1 ratio aligns with the strongest standard options available elsewhere. A compact overview of current ratios appears below:
| Program | Transfer Ratio to TrueBlue |
|---|---|
| Bilt | 1:1 |
| Chase Ultimate Rewards | 1:1 |
| American Express Membership Rewards | 5:4 |
| Capital One Miles | 5:3 |
| Rove | 1:1 (with temporary 20% bonus through Nov. 14) |
Rove currently offers a limited-time bonus that yields 1,200 TrueBlue points for every 1,000 Rove miles transferred. Other programs maintain fixed ratios without such promotions at present.
Practical Value for Travelers
JetBlue uses dynamic pricing for its own flights, so point requirements generally follow cash fares. Partner awards on airlines such as United, Qatar Airways, and Etihad follow separate availability and pricing that does not always track the cash fare. TPG valuations from October 2026 place Bilt points at 2.2 cents each and JetBlue points at 1.35 cents each. The transfer therefore makes the most sense when a traveler needs to top off a TrueBlue balance or access a high-value partner award.
Next Steps and Outlook
A Bilt spokesperson stated the company is “looking forward to doing more and more with TrueBlue and JetBlue in the Bilt neighborhood ecosystem over the coming months.” That comment leaves room for future promotions, including possible Rent Day bonuses or status challenges tied to JetBlue’s Mosaic program. The addition strengthens Bilt’s lineup without altering the core value proposition of its points. Members who already fly JetBlue or its partners now have one more straightforward redemption path. Those who rarely use the airline can continue to weigh transfers against other partners that may deliver higher cents-per-point returns.
