Credit card issuers continue to invest heavily in airport lounges as a way to differentiate premium products. Chase has moved from relying on third-party access to building its own branded network under the Sapphire name. Nine locations now operate across the United States, with one more confirmed for Los Angeles.
Where the Lounges Stand Today
The network spans both coasts and several interior hubs. Boston Logan opened first in May 2023 inside the Terminal B-to-C connector. New York travelers can choose between the Terminal 4 space at JFK, which opened in January 2024, or the Terminal B lounge at LaGuardia that debuted the same month.
Further west, Phoenix Sky Harbor welcomed guests in November 2024, followed by San Diego in December 2024. Philadelphia鈥檚 20,000-square-foot facility opened in February 2025 between Terminals D and E. Las Vegas added its two-story lounge in Terminal 1 in December 2025. Dulles near Washington, D.C., began operations in March 2024 inside Terminal A.
The newest addition arrived at Dallas Fort Worth in July 2026. That 18,000-square-foot space sits post-security near Gate D25 in Terminal D and ranks among the largest in the collection.
Distinct Amenities Travelers Notice
Most locations share core offerings such as made-to-order meals, buffets, full-service bars, and wellness areas. Dallas Fort Worth stands out with a dedicated whiskey lounge offering Texas tastings, complimentary 30-minute facials, a children鈥檚 play area, and a grab-and-go station still in testing. Philadelphia includes an Eagles-themed bar, a beer garden, and two treatment rooms for facials.
San Diego features four private relaxation pods and locally inspired decor on the mezzanine level. Las Vegas emphasizes a lively atmosphere with Momofuku bites and an upstairs Champagne parlor. Several sites, including LaGuardia, offer Reserve Suites for private three-hour stays at an extra charge.
Smaller venues such as Dulles and the Las Vegas lounge still provide ample seating, outlets, and family rooms despite more compact footprints. All emphasize comfortable lighting and views where possible.
Eligibility and Guest Policies
Primary access belongs to holders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, J.P. Morgan Reserve, and Ritz-Carlton Credit Card. Each cardholder may bring up to two guests at no charge. Additional guests incur a fee, while children under two enter free regardless of the card presented.
Priority Pass members receive one visit per calendar year and may purchase extra guest passes. At the JFK and Dulles locations, select Etihad Airways passengers, including Gold and Platinum elites and those traveling in business or first class on Etihad metal, may also enter without a Chase card.
Next Steps in the Expansion
Los Angeles International Airport will receive the tenth lounge in the Tom Bradley International Terminal near Gate 148. The roughly 9,000-square-foot space has no announced opening date yet. All terminals at LAX connect airside, so travelers can reach it after security from any concourse.
Chase partners with Airport Dimensions on construction and operations. The move places the issuer in direct competition with American Express Centurion Lounges and Capital One鈥檚 growing collection. Travelers benefit from more options and improved amenities as issuers respond to one another.
