More than 20 Palisociety properties will soon join the Design Hotels collection inside Marriott Bonvoy. This move gives members access to a fresh set of independent boutique hotels that emphasize distinctive design and neighborhood character. The addition expands earning and redemption options without requiring travelers to leave the loyalty program.
Partnership Expands Design Hotels Reach
Design Hotels already operates more than 300 independent properties worldwide, though not every one participates in Marriott Bonvoy. The new agreement brings Palisociety’s full portfolio into that network. All of the California-based collection’s hotels, residences, and restaurants will eventually allow points bookings and earning.
Palisociety operates four main brands plus several standalone properties. These include Palihouse, Palihotel, Le Petit Pali, and Arrive by Palisociety. Locations concentrate on the West Coast yet also appear in New Mexico, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Distinctive Brands and Amenities
Each Palisociety brand maintains its own identity while sharing a focus on bespoke design and local culture. Le Petit Pali Laguna Beach, for example, offers playful yet thoughtful interiors along with a complimentary daily Champagne continental breakfast. Other properties highlight poolside cabanas and signature programming tailored to their neighborhoods.
Founder Avi Brosh described the move as a natural extension of shared values around design, culture, and independence. The partnership aligns Palisociety’s independent point of view with Design Hotels’ established platform for creative hospitality.

Design Hotels sits alongside Tribute Portfolio and Autograph Collection as a home for independent-minded properties. Many boutique operators have historically avoided major loyalty programs, yet participation continues to increase as the programs demonstrate broader reach and marketing support.
Members should note that redemption rules and availability will follow standard Marriott Bonvoy terms once the properties activate. Not every Design Hotels location currently accepts points, but the Palisociety additions will participate fully.
