Park Hyatt has long stood apart for its collection of intimate, design-focused hotels that emphasize personalized service over standardized resort formulas. The brand is now entering the all-inclusive category for the first time with a beachfront property in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Located about 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport, the resort will open on February 15, 2027, and reservations are already open for stays from that date onward.
Scale and Design of the New Property
The Park Hyatt Riviera Maya will feature nearly 150 rooms and suites. Sizes begin at 550 square feet and extend to a penthouse exceeding 2,300 square feet. Every accommodation includes a balcony, while select units add private plunge pools. The overall approach draws on residential inspiration, with layouts that prioritize generous space and a direct connection to the surrounding landscape.
These elements align with the brand’s established emphasis on considered design rather than volume-driven resort architecture. The result is expected to deliver a more restrained luxury experience even within an all-inclusive framework.
Dining Options Under the All-Inclusive Model
Guests will have access to multiple dining venues without additional charges. Offerings include an all-day buffet, a seafood-focused restaurant at the beach club, a dedicated steakhouse, a patisserie, and a pool bar. This range addresses one of the common pain points at high-end properties, where à la carte pricing for meals and drinks can quickly add up.
The structure allows travelers to enjoy cocktails, multiple courses, and varied settings while keeping costs predictable. It represents a deliberate adaptation of the Park Hyatt standard to the all-inclusive format.
Recreation, Wellness, and Event Spaces
Facilities will encompass several pools, a fitness center, and a spa whose operating partner has yet to be announced. Meeting and event areas are also planned, positioning the resort for both leisure and small-scale corporate gatherings. These components extend the all-inclusive value beyond food and beverage to encompass daily activities and relaxation.
Details on the spa continue to develop, but the overall amenity mix supports extended stays without reliance on external vendors for core services.
Context Within Hyatt and Competitor Moves
Hyatt has expanded its all-inclusive holdings in recent years, including the creation of the new Impression brand for luxury inclusive properties. The Park Hyatt Riviera Maya adds a distinct layer by applying the brand’s signature approach to the segment. A spokesperson noted that the property will maintain the hallmarks of considered design, intuitive service, and a calm sense of confidence, drawing parallels to inclusive elements already in place at properties such as Alila Ventana Big Sur.
Marriott has pursued a similar path with its luxury brands. It opened the first W-branded all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic last year and plans the first JW Marriott all-inclusive in Costa Rica for later in 2026. The Park Hyatt project stands out because of the brand’s reputation for elevated expectations around food quality, service consistency, and overall atmosphere.
Booking Information and Rates
Reservations for the February 15, 2027 opening and beyond are now available directly through the resort. Standard nightly rates begin around $1,500 for double occupancy. As a World of Hyatt Category F all-inclusive property, award stays range from 45,000 to 85,000 points per night, with most dates currently listed at the moderate level of 65,000 points.
Park Hyatt Riviera Maya will offer an all-inclusive experience that is grounded in the hallmarks of the Park Hyatt brand, from its considered design and intuitive service to its calm sense of confidence.
The combination of points redemptions and included dining and drinks creates a more contained cost structure for loyal guests. Senior director of content Summer Hull at The Points Guy highlighted this shift, noting that the format enables a full Park Hyatt experience through points alone without additional card charges for meals or beverages.
This development marks a measured but notable step for a brand that has historically avoided the all-inclusive model. Travelers who value the Park Hyatt aesthetic now have a new option that pairs that style with inclusive pricing in a high-demand destination. The property’s early booking window gives planners time to evaluate availability ahead of the 2027 debut.
