In 2009, I checked into Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, India… and a decade later, I had a chance to revisit this globally recognized, iconic hotel. Here’s my full Taj Mahal Palace hotel review. For an abbreviated version, keep reading below.

I’ve been traversing India for a week now with Intersect by Lexus in New York City, which offers an elevated dining experience with a rotation of highly acclaimed chefs (more on that later).

My schedule has been truly hectic, and I have had absolutely no time to write stories. They’ll come next week, but in the meantime, the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai is simply stunning. It’s a time warp, a blast to the past, every little detail exceptionally well crafted. The colors pop, the design compels, the service is top notch. It’s everything you dream of when you think of palace in India.

Take a look at this gorgeous, old-world and historic hotel that is high in the ranks like La Mamounia in Marrakech, Peninsula Hong Kong and Raffles Singapore.
